At Theater Thikwa, artists with and without disabilities create theatre together. In their venue in Berlin Kreuzberg, they present plays that work with the personal idiosyncrasies of the performers and thus search for new forms of expression beyond firmly established genre boundaries. In 2019, Thikwa was awarded the Federal Theatre Prize, one of the most important theatre prizes in Germany.
